Photos from My 2005 / 2006 / 2007 Australia Trips

Melbourne June 2007

I have recently returned from a fantastic, but short trip to Melbourne with Emily.  We had a great time, exploring the city and surrounding area.  Melbourne is a great place, and I hope to go back there some day.

Canberra and Kosiosko National Park April 07

Over Easter I went across to Australia and met up with Emma from University.  It was    a great trip, we drove down from Sydney to Canberra and then from Canberra to Kosiosko National park where we camped out and went walking.  After Kosiosko we drove back through Canberra and Stayed in Wollongong before returning to Sydney   and flying back to NZ.  Thanks Emma for a great weekend.

Sydney / Uluru and the Red Centre

I have just returned from a fantastic trip to Uluru and the Red Centre of Australia.  My Journey started in Sydney, where I stayed with my Mongolian Friends (Byna, Bisa,     Orgil and Zula), I also had a bit more of a look around Sydney as well as meeting up with colleagues from IBM there.  From Sydney, I flew to Uluru, where I went on Safari.  I traveled in a group of 15-20 people, waking up in the mornings to watch the sunrise, doing a lot of trekking during the day, watching the sunsets in the evening, sitting around a fire and then sleeping in a swag in the evenings.  It was an awesome trip, and one of the best experiences I have had to date.  Click on the photo to the left to access my photos, and please leave comments.  I look forward to hearing from you.  There are a lot of photos, so now would be a good time to go to the toilet and get a coffee.  Enjoy!
